Job Description
SWATX is seeking an engineer to support the client environment, facilitating the client's adoption, ongoing improvement, and operation of the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for a duration of six (6) months, extendable up to one (1) year.
Resident engineer responsibilities:
- One engineer will work on the client environment
- Level 1 support for troubleshooting and fixing issues
- On 8x5 mode during official working hours for 5 days/week
- Perform daily operation and administration tasks
- Perform configuration changes
- Apply patches and security updates
- Perform periodical Health Checks
- Support in backup and restore
- Deliver knowledge transfer session (monthly.
- Provide clear documentations to enable and educate Client team on Red Hat products and technologies

OpenShift Container Platform
- Red Hat will provide engineers to support client with the configuration of OpenShift Container Platform, including:
- Providing advice, general knowledge transfer and configuration of Red Hat OpenShift
- Acting as the primary RedHat subject matter expert and point of contact for communication, accountability and escalation paths with the customer team.
- Support with day-2 operations, re-configuration, and planning customer’s Red Hat OpenShift operating environment,
- Support with providing Red Hat OpenShift performance tuning and optimization.
- Support with performing system diagnosis and resolution of customer Red Hat OpenShift related issues.
- Support with upgrades and patches installation
- Support with on-boarding of tenants on openshift clusters
- Support with the deployment of additional nodes
