Rubia Gallega, a fine dining Spanish-Mediterranean restaurant located in Dubai, is seeking a talented Restaurant Supervisor/Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Guest Service:
◦ Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
◦ Provide detailed menu knowledge, including food and wine pairings, to enhance the dining experience.
◦ Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to inquiries or special requests.
2 Team Leadership:
◦ Supervise and train waitstaff, ensuring high standards of service and presentation.
◦ Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate specials, promotions, and service goals.
◦ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among the team.
3 Service Management:
◦ Oversee the dining area to ensure smooth operations and efficient service flow.
◦ Monitor table settings and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with restaurant standards.
• Experience in fine dining and a strong understanding of wines and Mediterranean cuisine.
• Fluent in Spanish or has a deep cultural appreciation for Spanish gastronomy and hospitality traditions.
• Proficient in restaurant operations (including opening/closing procedures, team training, and reporting).
• Familiarity with POS systems (Tevalis knowledge is a plus) and basic P&L understanding.
