About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Reservations Supervisor to join Jumeirah Global Contact Centre. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Support team in completing reservations through all channels and segments
- Responsible with Reservation Manager for ensuring all daily, weekly, monthly tasks and reports are completed and documented related to Reservations, Audit, Revenue, compliance, finance, Visa’s and Groups (Reservations Task List) including spot checks and sign off
- Monitor and follow up on guest complaints (take ownership) and ensure relevant solutions are provided by coordinating with other departments
- Optimize resources working with Reservations Manager relating to work schedules, time keeping, adherence to breaks and leave management
- Support operational and business innovation strategy and projects as subject matter experts and ensure teams are fully trained during implementation and rollout
- Motivate through various methods and manage the team to achieve best in class and sustainable service levels in keeping with the defined standards identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Make sure that the department is always updated with any required information about our properties in terms of services offered, new rates applied, selling strategy etc
- Assist Reservations Manager in monitoring quality of calls and customer data entered by team in system.
- Assist Reservations Manager in conducting Performance Reviews, daily briefs and monthly 1-1 coaching/meeting
- Stand in for Reservations Manager during absence
About you:
- A minimum 2+ years’ experience as Senior Reservations Agent or similar role in Hospitality
- Experience in people management with exposure to leading a team of more than 4 people
- Excellent knowledge of PMS systems
- Team player - Collaborates positively and effectively with others and team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes
