As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:


  • Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, or online booking systems in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide detailed information about room availability, rates, special packages, and hotel services to guests.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring accuracy in booking details.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system and ensure all guest requests and preferences are accurately recorded.
  • Assist guests with special requests or issues, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Cross-sell and upsell hotel services such as room upgrades, dining packages, or other amenities to maximize revenue.
  • Communicate reservation details with relevant departments (front office, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure smooth guest experiences.
  • Handle payment processing and ensure that guest information is handled securely.
  • Stay updated on hotel policies, promotions, and procedures to effectively assist guests.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in hotel reservations, front desk, or customer service roles preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using reservation software (such as Opera, PMS) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
