Job Description

As a Relationship Manager your role is to acquire, grow and deepen WM Banking relationships through effective relationship management, with special focus on the analysis and satisfaction of WM customers, with an aim to meet the budgeted volumes. Ensure adherence to Banks policies, ethics and code of conduct.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drives the team to generate new business to achieve defined sales targets and team targets across assets and liabilities.
  • Conducts joint calls with team members to increase business and to acquire new relationships and performs daily team huddles and monthly performance reviews as per prescribed guidelines.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and support to the team members by setting objectives, identifying development needs and conducting performance management to manage staff attrition with an aim to optimize performance of every team member.
  • Builds and deepens relationships with existing RAK elite/wealth management customers to achieve increase in share of wallet and revenues and assesses the quality, potential and profitability of new relationships as well as the existing portfolio.
  • Ensures that the service standards of RAK elite/wealth management are met and maintained, and nil undesirable business is sourced and ensures that the team members clear IS certification within stipulated deadline.
  • Provides complete information on IS products available on platform to enable customers to make informed decisions and keeps customers updated on current market trends and global economic policies and provides truly professional customer service to achieve a high level of customer
    satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepares, recommends and reviews credit applications for cards, funded and non-funded facilities and ensures proper documentation and timely draw-down and manages an incremental portfolio of relationships, liabilities, AUM and assets.
  • Advises and promotes to customers other products of the bank, refers potential leads and facilitates maximum conversions and cross sells different products of the bank to minimize attrition.
  • Be fully aware of the entire product and service range available and keeps abreast of market developments, both global as well as local.
