Job Description
- Implement one-on-one behavior therapy sessions with clients, following individualized treatment plans designed by the BCBA.
- Use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques such as positive reinforcement, prompting, and task analysis to teach and reinforce new skills.
- Address challenging behaviors through intervention strategies, ensuring a supportive and structured environment.
- Accurately record data on client behavior, responses, and progress during each session.
- Maintain organized records and submit data to the supervising BCBA for analysis and program adjustments.
- Work closely with the supervising BCBA to discuss client progress, challenges, and potential modifications to treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers, providing updates on client progress and strategies to support learning and behavior outside of therapy sessions.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA techniques and behavior therapy.
- Stay informed about best practices in ABA and relevant fields to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards in ABA practice, maintaining client confidentiality and promoting a safe and respectful therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Diploma in related psycho-analysis field
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is highly desirable or willingness to obtain RBT certification.
- Valid DHA or DOH license or eligibility.
- Previous 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
