Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company’s market reach. This role requires strong sales skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and market analysis.
- Client Acquisition: Actively seek out new clients and business partnerships that align with company goals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients, outlining the value proposition of the company’s products and services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from business development to execution.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms for the company while addressing client needs.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in HVAC, Industrial Gasses, Refrigerants, Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Environment and Sustainability sector
