POSITION OVERVIEW:


  • As the first point of contact for customers, this role sets the tone for an exceptional showroom experience. A Receptionist in the automotive industry ensures a welcoming environment, handles inquiries with professionalism, and supports daily administrative operations to keep the business running smoothly.

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:


  • Greet and assist customers, visitors, and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate departments, and handle messages efficiently.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate records of customer visits.
  • Provide information about products, services, and promotions to customers.
  • Support the sales and service teams with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organized, and welcoming.
  • Process basic paperwork and assist in document handling.
  • Handle customer concerns with professionalism and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate mail, deliveries, and office supplies management.
  • Assist in organizing showroom events and promotional activities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in customer service or administration is a plus.
  • Experience in front desk, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage.
