Job Description

1.JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE



R2R Specialist is responsible for all R2R related activities and ensure that all transactional purchasing and support services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard. He or she is tasked with proactively driving the improvement of the R2R process. Professionals may also specialize in the implementation of R2R systems and will be responsible for managing the full project of implementation from beginning to end.



2.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



Accounting Compliance


·The R2R Specialist is responsible for providing business unit general accounting and internal control support in line with IFRS, including preparation and posting of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheet accounts, completion of the month end closing transactions/procedures and ensuring that the general ledger account balances and trial balances are appropriately reconciled.


·Reconciliations of accounts from various areas (subledger accounts, intercompany balances, fixed assets, automated accounts)


·Review of automated journal entries (reclassifications, revaluation of foreign currency, accrual reversals, recurrent entries, etc.)


·Responsible for data extraction, data collection, data validation, voucher postings and resolve discrepancies, if any.


·Review, reconcile and confirm all intercompany transactions for the international group.


·Undertake ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by management.


·Reporting, recording and subsequent updates on the Fixed assets and Leased assets.


Audit Support


·Prepare response to related audit queries and requests (statutory / internal / government) as delegated by reporting manager to ensure timely closure of audit query/observations.


Process Control


·Adhere to company guidelines and procedures and policies relating to GL (R2R) functions and reporting requirements.


·Supports the reporting manager in maintenance and implementation of process controls, to ensure standardization, optimization, and effectiveness of departmental activities.


Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment (QHSSE)


·Adhere to all relevant QHSSE procedures, instructions and controls in line with QHSSE policies and procedures to ensure safe secure and environment to employees, customers and public in large.
