Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

The Quantity Surveyor/Estimator plays a crucial role in the Fit-Out & Joinery industry, particularly in Dubai, UAE. This position involves managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the required standards. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out and joinery projects based on architectural and engineering drawings.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to assist in project planning and budgeting.
3. Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and reported accurately.
4. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best terms.
5. Review and analyze tenders, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
6. Provide regular reports on project financial performance and forecasts to senior management.
7. Collaborate with project managers and site teams to address any financial discrepancies or issues.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and costs to provide informed recommendations.
9. Assist in the preparation of progress claims and final accounts for projects.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
