Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.      To assist the quantity survey manager for manage all contractual correspondence to consultant/client in conjunction with the Contract Administrator.

 

2.      Work in conjunction with the QS on each sub-contractor to ensure that measurement, variation, and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.

 

3.      Estimation of the quantity of material and cost of the project as per the approved drawings and documents and comparing the same according to the cost budget.

 

4.      Preparation of quantity take-offs for subcontract packages.

 

5.      To identify and initiates variation to the consultant/client approvals.

 

6.      To assess risk items in BOQ or drawing and advise on remedial measures

 

7.      Evaluating sub-contract payments and variations.

 

8.      Advising on procurement strategy.

 

9.      Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.

 

10.  Record and value all variations for inclusion in interim payment and final accounts.

 

11.  Analyzes cash flow and monthly cost reports.

 

12.  Preparation of monthly ‘Estimate at Completion’ Reports and submit to Projects Control.

 

13.  To oversee the disbursement of petty cash.

 

14.  Providing advice on contractual claims.

 

15.  To monitor the activity of the storekeeper.
