Operating from state-of-the-art facilities in Sharjah, they specialize in structural and architectural metalwork, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and offer custom design solutions. They also provide general contracting services, including equipment rentals and sales. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project costs and budgets, ensuring efficient resource use, and maintaining financial control. Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, budget oversight, and financial analysis to support successful project execution and uphold the firm's high standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Construction Budgets: Study plans, update specifications, and project costs for each elevation.Prepare and Review Tender Documents: Draft and ensure all tender documents and systems are included, and resolve discrepancies.Evaluate and Obtain Bids: Cost changes, additions, and site requirements; obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors.Maintain Cost Records: Update cost keys, price masters, and maintain cost databases.Assess Design Changes: Evaluate the impact of design revisions and ensure compliance with specifications.Assist in Claims and Variations: Review, negotiate, and prepare claims and variation orders; assist in preparing engineering proposals and reports.Monitor Contractor Performance: Check and record measurements of completed work, monitor resource allocation, and audit payments.Prepare BOQs and Estimates: Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and preambles, liaise with designers, and ensure accuracy and quality.Participate in Meetings: Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and commercial presentations; advise on financial and contractual matters.Maintain Professional Standards: Keep up-to-date with industry standards, ensure adherence to organizational processes, and contribute to team efforts.
