We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Developer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our Equities capabilities at Brevan Howard.Working closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and trading strategy developers, you will deliver innovative solutions that directly impact trading strategies and portfolio management.



Key Responsibilities



Develop, maintain, and deploy analytical tools (Python) to support and enhance equities trading strategies. Build front-office web applications to enable Portfolio Managers to monitor market trends, positions, and risk. Design, refine, and maintain data pipelines to support trading team requirements, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Enhance applications and processes to improve performance and scalability, with a focus on handling large equities datasets. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver innovative solutions, and continuously improve analytics and infrastructure.

Requirements



At least 2 years, with proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Polars, Jupyter Notebooks, and FastAPI. Comprehensive understanding of Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Redis, and other modern development frameworks. Practical experience with AWS services, including S3, EC2, AWS Batch, and Redshift. Expertise in relational and non-relational database technologies. Experience with exchange APIs and market data integrations. A solid foundation in financial mathematics and statistics. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications



Prior experience working with Equities. Proficiency in the data science stack using Python. Experience with Java development. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud services.
