Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Nurse to join our team at GluCare. The Quality Nurse will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence by monitoring and improving healthcare quality and safety practices. This position involves conducting quality audits, analyzing performance data, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Improvement:
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs and policies to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of clinical practices, patient care, and healthcare processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze quality metrics and data to track performance, identify trends, and develop action plans for improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Deal with patient complaints, feedback, follow up with them and rectify them.
Patient Safety and Risk Management:
- Monitor and evaluate patient safety incidents, adverse events, and near misses, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Lead root cause analysis and incident investigations to identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of safety and transparency, encouraging reporting and proactive management of patient safety concerns.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in external audits, inspections, and accreditation surveys.
- Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and standards, and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at GluCare, including physicians, to improve patient care quality and outcomes.
- Communicate quality performance data and improvement plans to stakeholders, including senior management and clinical staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff.
Education and Training:
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on quality improvement processes, patient safety practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and distribute educational materials and resources to support quality initiatives and best practices.
- Mentor and support nursing staff in implementing quality improvement strategies and achieving performance goals.
