Job Description
Responsible for monitoring
and evaluating products and production processes, conducting rigorous testing
and inspections to meet specified standards and regulations. Their meticulous
attention to detail helps identify defects, prevent errors, and maintain
consistent quality throughout production/assembly of water generators (Genny
and others).·Responsible
for making sure that products meet a set of standards. Their duties include examining
shipments of inventory and raw goods, measuring the specifications of random
items in each production run and training team members to refine production
quality.·Performs
assessment, documentation and organization tasks to support the efficiency and
effectiveness of their organization’s supply chain.·Inspecting
output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to
standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.·Checking
that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies
with legal requirements.·Reviewing
blueprints and specifications compared to produced goods.·Recording
inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and
inputting data into quality database and presentations.·Training
the assembly/production team on quality control measures to improve product
excellence.·Proposing
improvements to the production process.·Monitoring
the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.·Updating
job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training.·Keeping
measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration
requirements and calling for repairs.·Reading
and interpreting engineering drawings and diagrams.·Using
gauges such as calipers, micrometers, ohmmeter, and electrical testing program to
measure products prior and after usage.·Collecting
and compiling statistical quality data and traceability records.·Assisting
in the development of test methods and inspection plans.·Determining
the causes of product defects and reworks·Verifying
all equipment is calibrated and tested correctly.·Report any nonconformance issues during receipt of raw goods,
assembly process and finished products, conduct the root cause analysis and
recommend correction and preventive measures.·Handle customer complaints and address it to the concerned
department to take the necessary actions and coordinate with all stakeholders.·Conduct regular coordination meetings with the Production
Assembly Team (PAT), communicate day-to-day activities, and participate in the
production planning process.·Observe and implement health and safety standards overall
processes and practices.RequirementsEducation/ Qualification·Mini. Engineering Diploma in MEP maintenance (preferred in HVAC or PLC).·Quality control training (Food safety, ISO9001)Work Experience·Mini. 2 yrs in similar field.Skills·Analytical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and familiar with sanitation processes.
