Job Description
Conduct thorough inspections of fire doors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, identifying any deficiencies that need addressing. Document and maintain accurate records of quality control processes, providing detailed reports to management. Collaborate with installation teams to ensure that fire doors are installed correctly, adhering to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Perform routine maintenance assessments and recommend repairs or replacements for non-compliant fire doors. Stay updated on the latest fire safety standards and regulations to ensure all quality control practices align with current best practices. Provide training and guidance to staff on proper handling and maintenance of fire doors, fostering a culture of safety and compliance. Develop and implement quality assurance protocols tailored specifically for fire door products to enhance overall safety and performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 3 years of experience. Proven experience in interpreting building codes and fire safety regulations, with a strong understanding of NFPA standards. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications related to fire doors and their installations. Fluency in English is required Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions quickly. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times. A proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
