QHSE Manager – Packaging Industry (Mandatory Experience Required)
- Ensure the site condition is maintained in compliance with local and international HSE requirements.
- Ensure all SOPs are covering all necessity PPE and supporting equipment in accordance with local and international HSE guidelines.
- Ensure all international and local HSE audits and accreditation are upheld.
- All items coming in and going out of factory need to be covered, inspected and approved as per our Quality Control Plan. Review the QCP every 3 months and update to management what improvements done.
- Accurate recording of internal NCPR and customer complaints to be done. All customer complaints to be acknowledged within 2 days of receiving and responded within 5 days of receipt.
- Primary focus is to ensure product being manufactured is in line with customer specification and management expectation in all aspects be it performance, aesthetic or packing.
- Be the enforcer of systems approach. Review every SOP associated to QHSE and liaise with related team member to update as and when needed.
- Establish and execute a systems audit plan on a weekly basis covering SOPs, SOCs & HSE aspects of the business.
- Coordinate with purchase for any new vendor on boarding or any rejection of goods being received from supplier.
- Ensure product packaging is in shippable condition prior to dispatch and ensure all other aspects of product are inspected in line ANSI sampling plan.
- Conduct analysis on data collected on daily basis and update management on direction of our quality standards. Goal is trend to be maintained onwards and upwards.
- Ensure legislative and quality certifications of the business such as ISO9001, BRC, FSC etc are maintained. Target to acquire ISO 14001 by mid of 2025.
- Ensure all TDS,MSDS are maintained for each and every item consumed and legal compliance of the same is covered at all times.
- Conduct regular trainings of QC staff as well as operations staff related to QHSE.
- Execute any other task assigned by senior management.
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Sound knowledge of quality management and standards implementation with minimum 5 years experience. Must be NEBOSH certified.
