Job Description:
Develop, Execute and Control QHSE procedures and policies.
• Work with management, employees, occupational health and environmental professionals, community, regulatory agencies and government officials.
• Controlling and supervising quality whilst preventing occupational risk.
• Overall management of ISO Certification procedures.
• As the ISO Management Representative ensure that internal audits are completed on time, manuals are updated and external audits are adequately prepared.
• Train all/affected employees on Group QHSE Training modules and ensure that all employees are adequately trained through formal and informal training sessions.
• Enforce and ensure compliance to permit to work standards at all times.
• Conduct internal QHSE audits at regular intervals.
• Prepare and review monthly QHSE reports and advise managing Director on critical issues.
• Carry out regular safety inspections across the company.
• Assist in the compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and environmental management.
• Provide assistance and advice on QHSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.
• Promote incident prevention for the benefits of employees and visitors.
• Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training.
• Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
• Ability to work with employees and achieve culture change in the face of potential resistance.
• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
• Perform any other QHSE duties as directed/required by senior management
