Job Description

Job Title: QC Manager (Site)


Location: Abu Dhabi


Experience: 1-3 Years


Salary: Depends Upon Experience


Main Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing and implementing quality control processes at the construction site to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting inspections and audits of materials, workmanship, and site activities to maintain quality assurance.
  • Managing and leading the site QC team to ensure adherence to quality procedures and best practices.
  • Identifying and addressing non-conformities, issuing corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring their implementation.
  • Coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to maintain quality control throughout project execution.
  • Reviewing and approving site-related quality documentation, reports, and test records.
  • Conducting site-based training and awareness programs on quality control measures and standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all site activities.
  • Monitoring subcontractors' work for quality compliance and ensuring adherence to approved plans and specifications.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site quality performance and operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASNT Level II/III, or equivalent preferred.

Skills Required:


  • Strong knowledge of construction quality control processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality reports.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills to oversee site QC teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with project stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure site environments.
  • Experience with site audits, compliance, and quality documentation.
