Job Description
  • Conduct inspections of mechanical installations, piping, HVAC systems, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Perform and witness tests on mechanical systems, including pressure tests, non-destructive testing (NDT), and functional tests.
  • Verify the quality of materials delivered to the site, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection records and test reports.
  • Review and verify quality control documents submitted by subcontractors, such as material certificates, welding records, and inspection reports.
  • Prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs) for any deviations from the specifications or standards.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and the client's quality representatives to resolve any quality issues.
  • Attend and participate in quality meetings, providing updates on inspection activities and quality performance.
  • Ensure that all mechanical work is carried out in accordance with the approved Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards (such as ASME, API, and ISO), and project-specific requirements.
  • Monitor and verify the implementation of the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) for mechanical works.
  • Conduct audits of mechanical construction activities and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure that all inspection activities are conducted in a safe manner, adhering to HSE policies and procedures.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or practices observed during inspections.

Qualifications

Educational Background:


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • HVAC Diploma Certification 

Experience :


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QC Inspector  (MEP), specifically in mechanical construction projects in the UAE or GCC region.
  • Preferable ADNOC Approval profiles and immediately available to Join .

Additional Information

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standardsWorking Conditions:
  • Ability to work in a construction site environment, which may include exposure to heat, dust, and noise.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.
