Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of materials, products, and processes to ensure compliance with specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.
  • Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) on various equipment, components, and systems used in oil and gas operations.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to verify accuracy and conformance.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, including non-compliance issues, findings, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure that all inspections meet the required quality control and safety standards.
  • Communicate inspection results to engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met during the procurement process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.

Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills, enabling the identification of potential issues or deviations from approved plans during on-site inspections.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or relevant technical field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, industry codes, and testing techniques.
  • Certification in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) is a plus.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and software.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in challenging environments and under tight deadlines.
