Job Description
Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry and safety standards, identifying any discrepancies or defects. Develop and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports and compliance checklists, to ensure traceability and accountability. Implement and monitor quality control processes, utilizing statistical methods to analyze data and improve overall product reliability and performance. Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for non-conformance issues, ensuring timely resolution to prevent recurrence. Participate in internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and responding to findings to ensure continuous improvement. Evaluate supplier quality performance through audits and assessments, ensuring that materials meet specified quality standards before acceptance. Utilize advanced testing equipment and software for diagnostics, ensuring precise measurements and effective troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, demonstrating a solid foundation in engineering principles. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quality control within the mechanical and electrical sectors, showcasing practical knowledge and expertise. Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma) is preferred, indicating a commitment to quality excellence. Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASand their application in engineering processes, ensuring compliance with global best practices. Proficient in technical documentation and quality control software, enabling efficient data management and reporting. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, essential for identifying quality issues and implementing effective solutions. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, demonstrating collaboration and adaptability to varying project needs. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset, essential for anticipating and addressing quality challenges before they escalate.
