This role requires overseeing the implementation of quality control systems, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The QA/QC Manager will play a key role in monitoring project performance and managing the effective execution of quality assurance protocols throughout all stages of the construction process.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control team to ensure that all project deliverables meet the specified quality standards.Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations to assess the quality of materials, workmanship, and project processes.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide guidance on quality-related issues.Review and approve vendor qualifications, materials, and equipment for quality compliance.Ensure proper documentation of all quality-related records, including non-conformance reports, test results, and inspections.Identify areas for process improvement and initiate corrective and preventive actions.Monitor adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Provide training and mentorship to junior QA/QC staff to maintain high-quality standards.Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to senior management.Assist in the preparation of project budgets by identifying potential quality-related risks and mitigating them.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.11+ years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry.Proven experience in managing QA/QC processes for large-scale construction projects.Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.).Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of construction materials, processes, and technologies.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Familiarity with construction management software and project management tools.Preferred Qualifications:PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.Experience in the UAE or Middle East construction markets.Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.Why choose AtkinsRéalisYour difference makes a difference.
