Job Description

The QA/QC Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that construction projects meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. This position is essential in the construction and building industry, particularly in a dynamic market like Dubai, where quality assurance is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge. The QA/QC Manager will oversee the quality management system, implement quality control procedures, and lead a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with established standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction processes to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Coordinate with project managers to ensure that quality control measures are integrated into project plans.
  4. Lead training sessions for staff on quality control practices and procedures.
  5. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas of concern.
  6. Manage and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner to minimize project delays.
  7. Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the specified standards and requirements.
  8. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
  9. Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
  10. Foster a culture of quality within the organization by promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.

  7. Proficient in quality management software and tools.
  8. Strong understanding of construction processes and regulatory requirements.

  10. Continuous learner, staying updated with industry standards and innovations.
