Job Description

The QA/QC Inspector plays a crucial role in the construction and building industry, ensuring that all materials and workmanship meet the required standards and specifications. This position is essential for maintaining quality control throughout the construction process, from the initial phases to project completion. The QA/QC Inspector will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to uphold the highest quality standards while adhering to safety regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  2. Review and approve quality control plans and procedures to ensure they meet project requirements.
  3. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, documenting any non-conformance issues and corrective actions taken.
  4. Coordinate with project teams to facilitate quality audits and assessments.
  5. Provide training and guidance to construction personnel on quality assurance practices and procedures.
  6. Monitor the implementation of quality control measures and recommend improvements as necessary.
  7. Ensure that all materials used in construction meet the required quality standards.
  8. Participate in project meetings to discuss quality-related issues and solutions.
  9. Assist in the development of project quality documentation, including inspection and test plans.
  10. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance and control.
