Job Description
PV Expert will provide expert engineering advice and input technically and commercially and provide required guidance that will enable NOMAC to take strategic decisions and smoothly operations.
Reliability of Supply Improvements
- Lead the Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis
- Predicting/diagnosing reliability of supply issues using predictive analytics, Engineering risk assessments and RCAs.
- Leading investigation and proposing solutions
Engineering Reviews
- Support O&M Bid preparations
- Review Vendor selection and Qualification
- Lead the design reviews/validation of plant modifications/betterments
Engineering Support
- Oversee the execution of solutions impacting Reliability
- Conduct RCAs for large failures or with link to reliability of supply
- Expert Advice
Specializations
- Deep knowledge of different P.V. technologies and balance of plant components, the supplier landscape and technological trends;
- Expert knowledge of the technical components, design considerations, electrical system and integration aspects, performance and O&M tools, and monitoring systems of P.V. parks;
- Expert knowledge in the initiation, monitoring, performance analysis and (financial and technical) result consolidation of large P.V. plants
- Ability to coordinate and manage measurement campaigns on P.V. assets;
- Able to advise on, audit and optimize operation and maintenance programs and spares inventories

- Identify opportunities of improvement and contribute to organizational and department-related change initiatives, programs and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment.

- Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude
Who will fit:
- PHD or Master’s in engineering or a Bachelor’s degree with membership of a Chartered institute or Engineering body
- 15 - 20 years’ experience of relevant experience
- Experience with OEM or Well -known Engineering firm or as part of the Engineering Centre of Excellence in large Generation or O&G organizations
