In your capacity as a Pulmonologist Specialist/Consultant, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a variety of respiratory diseases and conditions. You will execute comprehensive evaluations, interpret diagnostic testing results, and create tailored treatment plans, all while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and respiratory symptoms.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests and imaging studies.
- Diagnose conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols, encompassing medication management and respiratory therapies.
- Perform interventional procedures like bronchoscopy when necessary and analyze findings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keep abreast of latest advancements in pulmonology to continually enhance clinical skills and patient outcomes.
