About the business area;

 

ADCE, a leading commercial building development manager in Abu Dhabi, provides a wide range of services from feasibility studies to project management, catering to ADCB's retail and commercial mortgage business and key government entities like the Abu Dhabi Municipality. This year, a priority has been investing in digitalisation to optimise operations, with a focus on valuations, reporting, and certification, utilising technology to expand services and enhance its proposition. Additionally, ADCE collaborates closely with ADCB’s Sustainability and Corporate & Investment Banking teams to identify and assess sustainable property and construction projects, offering guidance on financing for construction projects and building retrofits. With Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) as a key focus, ADCE is developing new service offerings set for launch in 2025, including energy services to support the UAE’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

 

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • To review the draft reports prepared by the property inspectors in order to conclude and report the market value of the units based on market research and data.
  • Inspect properties when needed in order to issue the final valuation report draft for manager’s approval
  • Complete all paperwork in line with Banks requirements to ensure compliance with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) valuation standards.
  • Maintain frequent dashboard reports to the manager’s as per agreed format in order to provide accurate updates when requested.
  • Stay up to date with latest codes, standards and valuation guidelines to ensure that best practice is being followed and implemented.
  • Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Assess the value of properties, taking into account size, condition, location and market trends in order to advise on the suitable rent for property to let.
  • Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own contribution to business performance.
  • Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
