Project Manager - Vendor Management

Job Description



Support the management of a suite of governance, communication and management control systems for the proper conduct and assured delivery of the client’s essential services and works. Oversee large volumes of Construction tenders and manage all contractor pre-qualifications, on behalf of the client. Conduct technical evaluations of contractor bids and tenders, Handle all technical queries from contractors, and coordinate with the client internal departments to ensure timely and accurate responses. Monitor and audit compliance with the requirements of the management systems and report as required. Continually identify any risks, actively assign and manage mitigations as appropriate. Participate in weekly technical and progress meetings relating to the services and works. Support the attainment of design stage deliverables to schedule and quality that may be concurrent with any fast-track works package procurements and associated permitting and approvals requirements. Support the preparation of formal reports on tenders& bids progress. Support the preparation of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports on tender & bid progress Support the management and administration of the relevant contracts affording appropriate protection of the client’s interests. Support the preparation and timely issuance of company invoices and receipts against the agreed contract.

Qualifications



Degree in Project Management or equivalent 5 -7 years’ experience in project management within Real Estate / Property sector. Experience of pre-contract technical services from feasibility through to tender stage. Tendering, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preparing preambles and preliminaries, tender queries, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents. Experience and knowledge of project management within pre contracts works and tender stage. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office suite of products
