Job Description
The Project Manager will be required to deliver the technology projects related to Global Markets. Key responsibilities include engaging with key stakeholders, defining the project framework, following the IT PMO project process, ensuring delivering of the projects on-time and within budgets. The resource must also have an understanding of the Global Markets function with proven records of delivering IT projects related to their business.
- Define and own the project plan, including resource estimates, staffing, and logistics.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Act as a liaison between business, IT, and stakeholders.
- Maintain high delivery standards and user experience.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan with milestones, metrics, and deliverables.
- Prepare detailed status reports for management.
- Organize project meetings and collaborations.
- Manage external vendor deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with IT PMO processes within budget and timelines.
- Document lessons learned for future reference.
- Participate in pre-initiation phases (RFQ, RFI, RFP, POC).
Job Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years managing Global/Capital Markets projects.
- Experience with IT solutions for financial institutions (e.g., trade booking, electronic trading, risk management).
- Integration experience with core banking systems.
- Strong knowledge of Global Markets products and processes from front to back.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Postgraduate degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a Bank or IT company.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale Global Markets projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and trading solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management certification is a plus.
- Experience in a management role overseeing full life cycle implementation.
Contract term
