We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our events and exhibitions company. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various events and exhibitions, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the events and exhibitions industry.
Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans for each event or exhibition, outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and expectations. Maintain regular communication to provide updates and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and projects are delivered within financial constraints. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including assigning tasks to team members and managing workload to ensure project timelines are met. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address these risks and minimize their impact on project outcomes.
Quality Control: Ensure all events and exhibitions are delivered to the highest standards, meeting both client expectations and company quality criteria. Conduct regular quality checks and adjust project plans as necessary.
Vendor and Supplier Management: Source and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
On-site Management: Oversee on-site setup, execution, and teardown of events and exhibitions. Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients, attendees, and team members. Prepare detailed reports on project outcomes, including financial performance, client satisfaction, and lessons learned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in the events and exhibitions industry or a related field.
