Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for managing and delivering complex engineering and construction projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and cost expectations. The role involves liaising with multiple stakeholders, including ADNOC representatives, contractors, and regulatory bodies, while maintaining a focus on safety and environmental compliance.
TASKS:
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for onshore projects, ensuring alignment with ADNOC standards. Lead the project execution from inception to completion, ensuring key milestones are achieved. Coordinate with various disciplines, such as engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact between ADNOC and the project team, ensuring clear communication and alignment with client expectations. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities, to ensure successful project delivery.
Contract & Cost Management:
Oversee the management of contracts, procurement, and subcontractor agreements in line with ADNOC’s guidelines. Monitor project financials, including cost forecasts, change orders, and budget adjustments to avoid cost overruns.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all project activities are conducted in compliance with ADNOC’s HSE policies and procedures. Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and delays.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all engineering, construction, and commissioning activities meet ADNOC’s quality standards and industry best practices. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess project progress and quality.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries to senior management and ADNOC. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, permits, and certifications.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification (preferred). Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in oil and gas onshore projects, particularly with ADNOC or similar organizations. Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
