Key Responsibilities:
Operations
• Oversee day to day operations of client offshore.
• Ensure that maximum uptime on all operating equipment is achieved (safely).
• Improve and increase operating efficiency and throughput/uptime of cuttings treatment handling and associated equipment and services.
• Manage and participate in morning calls & daily reports.
• Plan, assign and delegate operations daily tasks and work allocation, monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure completion of all Site Equipment daily check sheets.
• Manage the operation of process equipment, including the safety aspects of such equipment.
• Ensure that routine checks on all plant and equipment are carried out.
• Ensure that plant is maintained in good working order through the relevant Company and site operating procedures.
• Ensure good operating practices are adopted by all employees through effective communication and operator training. Ensure compliance with written procedures. Ensure that all environmental, safety and quality procedures are followed.
• Regularly seek to identify and implement improved ways of working.
• Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained on the site at all times.
• Ensure site security at all times.
• Ensure that operational equipment spare stock/stock level is monitored and appropriately managed.
• Provide information for “end of well” summary reports. Provide information for monthly Operations Reports.
Client and Commercial Relationship:
• Ensure that Client relations are optimized through efficient service delivery, maximized service offering and regular client briefings/meetings.
• Ensure clients understand the entire scope of client service quality plan.
• Establish client awareness of additional prospective service offerings to generate upsell opportunities and feedback to onshore management.
Management of Personnel
• Regularly interact with offshore crew to ensure understanding of expectations, taking into account diverse ethnic, cultural, and language backgrounds within the operations team.
• Provide a clientsite induction for new staff mobilised to the project site.
• Facilitate ‘on the job’ training for new start and ‘continuity’ training for all other staff. Ensure that appropriate records are maintained and shared with relevant departments.
• Conduct timely and quality appraisals and field assessments as per required KPIs.
• Align with relevant stakeholders to support and supervise TWMA Training & Competency plan.
• Set performance targets for all processes and personnel for which you are responsible.
• Liaise with HR & direct line manager for Disciplinary and Grievance matters.
HSE and regulatory compliance:
• Follow all TWMA, client, island and job specific procedures in terms of regulatory compliance.
• Address any HSE concerns and take appropriate actions in conjunction with TWMA procedures.
• Undertake Health & Safety responsibilities and monitoring procedures as defined in the Health & Safety Manual.
• Attend safety meetings internally or externally with Client HSEQ personnel as required.
• Develop and maintain a positive HSEQ culture amongst staff on the site/island.
RequirementsQualifications / Training (E – Essential / P – Preferred):
• National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in any relevant industry trade or secondary qualification with equivalent trade experience of at least 5 years if relevant qualification is not available (E)
• TWMA experience of at least 3 years in similar role and related field (P)
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in relevant MEP/ HVAC Engineering (P)
• Basic Offshore Survival Induction & Emergency Training (TBOSIET) (P)
• Ability to work on various internal digital platforms/ systems (P)
• Demonstrate ATEX awareness (P)
Experience (E – Essential / P – Preferred):
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the oil & gas or energy industries (E).
• Demonstrate ability to manage a team or worked in supervisory role (E).
• 3 years’ experience working within onshore/ offshore drilling waste or process industries as related service or process provider (P)
• Proven experience in managing staff and allocating work appropriately (E).
• Proven experience in excellent HSE understanding and working knowledge (P)
• Ability to work on various internal digital platforms/ systems (P)
• Demonstrate ATEX awareness (P)
