Job Description
Coordinate and oversee glazing installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate with design teams to provide technical input on glazing systems and materials to achieve aesthetic and functional goals. Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the feasibility of glazing installations, identifying potential challenges and solutions. Manage procurement processes for glazing materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and progress reports for stakeholders. Ensure compliance with industry standards, local building codes, and safety regulations during all phases of glazing projects. Lead project meetings to communicate progress, address concerns, and align team efforts towards project objectives. Utilize project management software to track project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation effectively. Act as the primary point of contact for addressing inquiries and concerns while fostering strong professional relationships.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree with a strong focus on glazing systems. Minimum of 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in glazing engineering or project management within the construction industry. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple glazing projects from conception to completion, demonstrating strong organizational skills. Experience working with AutoCAD and other design software to develop and interpret technical drawings for glazing installations. Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus, especially for international project coordination. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues and devise effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety, ensuring all work meets industry standards and regulations. Physical ability to navigate construction sites and conduct on-site inspections, demonstrating a hands-on approach to project management.
