Job Description



Oversee the design and installation of fire-rated steel doors, ensuring compliance with local building codes and fire safety regulations. Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate the feasibility and requirements for fire-rated door installations. Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate fire-rated doors into building designs while maintaining aesthetic and functional standards. Prepare and review project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and schedules, to ensure accurate execution. Manage project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to procure high-quality fire-rated steel doors and related components. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project alignment. Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key developments and project milestones.

Desired Candidate Profile



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in structural design principles. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in the construction and installation of fire-rated systems. Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP or CAPM) is highly desirable to demonstrate project oversight capabilities. Experience working with fire-rated building materials and knowledge of relevant fire safety codes and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex project challenges with innovative solutions. Physical capability to conduct site visits and inspections, including the ability to navigate construction sites.
