Job Description
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Prepare financial reports and analysis for project stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and variances. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring accurate and timely financial information. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including budget estimates and financial justifications. Monitor and control project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending appropriate actions. Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing to clients or funding agencies, following project-specific guidelines. Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper allocation and utilization of project funds. Perform regular audits and financial reconciliations to ensure compliance with project guidelines and regulations. Provide financial support and guidance to project teams, answering any financial-related queries or concerns. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to project accounting, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CMA qualification preferred. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project accounting or similar role. Experience working in the construction or engineering industry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of project accounting principles and financial regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
