THE ROLE
Reporting to the Project Controls Director and responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the planning, estimating, cost control, risk management and document control services and for providing information to allow proactive and accurate reporting for the project.

KBR are supporting the Iraq Ministry of Planning with the development of economic and social policies within the varied governmental sectors to achieve the national development objectives. KBR will provide consultancy services covering economic master plan, project prioritization, technical and financial review, project management, ongoing project monitoring and negotiation support.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Project Controls Director to lead and manage the project controls team Develop and implement the project controls execution strategy to achieve the contract requirements Developing project controls standards, policies, and procedures Coordination with program management team on all aspects of project controls Establishing and managing the WBS and project master schedule Establishing and managing the CBS, budget, and project cost control Establishing and managing the risk management plan Establishing and managing document control Establishing and managing change control Progress, cost and risk monitoring and analysis Provide monthly and weekly reports Preparing and making presentations.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
BSc construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience Minimum overall relevant experience 12 years Minimum relevant experience 5 years in the role projects Minimum Regional Experience 5 years Professional memberships and charterships required MRICS or MCIOB Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major asset and civil infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques Ability to effectively monitor and analyse progress, cost, and risks, identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Experienced user of MS Office and Primavera Previous experience in the Middle East Excellent report writing skills. Fluency in English both written and spoken., Arabic speaking advantageous.
