Job Description
System Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Monitor System Performance: Continuously monitor the performance of SCM and trade finance systems to ensure they operate efficiently and without interruption.
- Regular Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates, patches, and backups.
- Incident Management: Quickly respond to and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime and operational impact.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
- Identify Issues: Detect and diagnose issues within SCM and trade finance systems.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to understand the origins of system problems.
- Implement Fixes: Develop and deploy solutions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- System Enhancements and Optimization:
- Upgrade Systems: Plan and execute system upgrades to improve functionality and performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize operations.
- Performance Tuning: Fine-tune system configurations to enhance performance and reliability.
- User Support and Training:
- User Assistance: Provide technical support to end-users, helping them troubleshoot issues and understand system features.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for new users and provide ongoing support for existing users.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, trade finance, and IT departments to ensure integrated operations.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with software vendors and external service providers for issue resolution and system enhancements.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions to management.
- Documentation:
- Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

- Project Involvement:
- Project Participation: Participate in projects related to SCM and trade finance system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering and defining technical requirements for new system features or modules.
- Testing: Conduct testing of new features, patches, and system upgrades to ensure they meet requirements and do not introduce new issues.
- Data Management:
- Ensure Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of supply chain and trade finance data within the systems.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements.
- Customer Focus:
- Customer Support: Act as a liaison between the bank and its customers to ensure that trade finance operations meet customer needs and expectations.
