Job Description
Job Summary: The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production process of metal sandwich panels, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operations while maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a proven track record in managing production teams in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in supervising production lines and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Production Team: Lead a team of 35 production workers, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working efficiently towards production goals.
- Monitor Production Workflow: Oversee the entire production process from raw material handling to the final product, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure all sandwich panels produced meet required specifications, including dimensional accuracy, finish, and structural integrity.
- Equipment and Machine Management: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machines and production equipment are operating at optimal efficiency and downtime is minimized.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and guidelines in accordance with company standards and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve production issues, from machine malfunctions to material shortages, minimizing delays and downtime.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports; track KPIs such as production output, quality control results, and team performance.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure raw materials are available, and finished goods are stored or dispatched according to schedule.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for process improvement, waste reduction, and optimization of workflows to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
