Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Payment Applications Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Payment Applications to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in microservices architecture, API integration, and multi-layered architectures. This role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end solution implementation, business analysis, and solution architecture within banking and financial services.

Education
- Degree, Post graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Payment Applications (Core, Switch, certificates and HSM Keys will be addon)
- Must have good experience in microservices architecture.
- Must have good experience of handling multiple projects.
- Must have experience in implementing End to End solution(from analysis to production movement).
- Must have good experience in API integration and multilayered architectures.
Technical Experience
- Should have experience in using Postman, Soap, selenium, Junit, devOps tools.
- Excellent understanding on solution architecture, solution designs.
- Experience in Business Analysis and System Implementation..
- Experience in building the HLD, FSD and drafting the whole project architecture.
- Working knowledge of industry payment related protocols including iso8583, iso9564, PIN encryptions, VISA and Master Card protocol.
- Experience in implementation of VISA and Master Card APIs
Functional Skills
- Experience in Banking, Financial and Fintech experience in an enterprise environment preferred.
- Experience in Agile methodology and other development life cycles.
- Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best in class technologies.
- Focus on quality of the deliverables to ensure long term stability of the system.
- Hands-on experience in change release process.
Soft Skills
- Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
- Self-motivator and self-starter, Ability to own and drive things without supervision and works collaboratively with the teams across the organization.
- Have excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present the ideas to Senior and Executive management.
