Job Description


AESG are currently seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our Dubai office. The successful candidate will have experience in global IT procurement or working with international vendors.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and assess IT procurement needs in collaboration with IT and other departments
  • Source and evaluate vendors for hardware, software, and IT services
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost-effective solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IT suppliers and service providers
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure all IT procurement activities comply with organisational policies and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements
  • Collaborate with Operations to manage IT procurement budgets effectively
  • Track expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Stay updated on emerging IT technologies and market trends
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve IT operations and reduce costs
  • Work closely with IT teams to align procurement with technological requirements
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies and procedures

Essential Skills:


  • Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Proven experience in IT procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing models
  • Familiarity with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified IT Procurement Professional (CITPP)
  • Experience in global IT procurement or working with international vendors
