Job Description

As Procurement Performance Specialist, dnata Catering & Retail (dC&R) you will initiate, lead, and consult on procurement projects to drive procurement governance, performance, process and systems optimisation across dC&R’s global network, ensuring data driven decisions are made at a local, regional and global/head office level. The remit includes overall management of policies, systems, and processes including data analysis, reporting, and innovation. Through the development of trusted and credible relationships, you will strategically align, prioritise and support cross-functional group initiatives with key business stakeholders. You will play a key role in monitoring external cost pressures and drive optimum systems adoption to increase sustainable business performance. 


In  this role, you will be responsible for:


  • Governance: In line with the dnata Way, drive and manage adoption of best practice controls, strategy, policies, systems, and standards.
  • Corporate social responsibility: Manage corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and ethical sourcing frameworks linked to strategy and targets to reduce emissions, consume responsibly, and promote responsible supply chains. Take every business forward by setting minimum expectations, reduce risks, and produce baseline documentation and reporting.
  • Compliance reporting: Conduct internal audits, and support resolution of findings through clear actions. Manage compliance reporting processes globally. Produce meaningful and accurate reports/dashboards, escalating areas of concern to appropriate leadership levels.
  • Data reporting & business intelligence: Manage and mitigate business, supplier, or category risk. Consolidate performance reporting compared to budgets, best-in-class, or industry benchmarks. Craft strategies and translate insights and recommendations into clear, actionable plans alongside senior leaders.
  • Financial insights: Monitor and produce reporting on external pressures and cost drivers impacting food and non-food spend categories across the P&L, supporting senior leaders in executing plans that align with organisational goals and strategies.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify business improvements and facilitate change management initiatives using project management principles, with excellent analytical and communication skills to simplify complex concepts and data into straightforward proposals.
  • System management: Provide oversight through adoption health checks. Ensure systems are efficiently and effectively utilised. Control testing, sign-off and change management of enhancements, patches and new releases. Manage business and contractual relationships with providers and ensure continuous improvement and enhancements are prioritised as part of the product roadmap.
  • Industry best practice & innovation: Act as an industry SME and keep abreast of best practice, developments, and innovation. Create business cases and ensure solutions deliver the expected business results.
