Job Description
Procurement Planning:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Forecast Material and steel requirements based on project specifications and liaise with project managers and engineers to determine needs.
Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
Price Negotiation:
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed of price trends and industry developments.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Logistics Coordination and Site Support :
- Oversee the logistics of steel transportation, including shipping, customs clearance, and delivery to project sites.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
- Tracking and logging site requirements and material delivery Status and schedules and pending delivery
Management and Documentation and Reporting:
- Monitor and manage inventory
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
