Charterhouse is working with a Global Transportation & Logistics organisation which is looking to appoint a Procurement and Tender Specialist to join the regional headquarters in Dubai. This role will play a crucial part in supporting to win new business and contributing towards revenue growth through tender acquisition, vendor onboarding and key relationship management.
About the role
The Procurement and Tender Specialist will work closely with the commercial team throughout the tender stage of projects to support with identification and capture of suitable suppliers/vendors which meet the quality and capabilities of specific technical requirements. This role will be tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors to ensure reliability and foster long-term partnerships which are commercially beneficial.
Additionally, the Procurement and Tender Specialist will conduct regular vendor performance reviews to address any issues related to service delivery or pricing and will work with internal and external stakeholders to provide suitable recommendations. Acting as a representative of the group, this role will be the main point of contact between stakeholders, government contracts team and vendors to provide and collect key contract technical requirements to support tender submissions.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record working in a similar role, ideally within the logistics or transportation industry with exposure to international markets.
