Our Client is leading manufacturers of Instrumentation, Control, Data Cables and Fire Resistant Cables, in addition to Low Voltage Power Cables. Looking to hire Process Engineer


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team a leading manufacturer of Instrumentation, Control, Data Cables and Fire Resistant Cables, in addition to Low Voltage Power Cables. The Process Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing, troubleshooting, and enhancing manufacturing processes for the production of high-quality data cables. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, production systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Analyze and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, productivity, and quality of cable manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining high product quality standards.
  • Process Design and Implementation: Design and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies to improve operational performance.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure adherence to product specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data analytics tools to monitor production performance, generate reports, and propose improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive cost reductions and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production, maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and process changes.
  • Training: Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of process improvements, troubleshooting steps, and technical specifications.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field).
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in cable manufacturing or a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and equipment used in data cable production.
  • Knowledge of quality control practices and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficient in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
