As a Principal UX Researcher at Deriv’s Dubai office, you’ll be at the forefront of understanding our users across the globe in one of the world’s most exciting cities.   • Tell compelling stories with data. You’ll present research findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.


  • Measure your impact. You’ll define and track KPIs that demonstrate the value of research, showcasing how your work drives product and business success.



Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in UX research, preferably in a senior role
  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex research projects
  • Strong mentoring skills
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working in a global team environment
  • Hands-on experience with various research methodologies, including qualitative approaches (in-depth interviews, ethnographic studies, usability testing, diary studies, contextual inquiries, focus groups) and quantitative approaches (surveys and questionnaires, A/B testing, analytics and data mining, longitudinal studies, experimental and quasi-experimental designs, statistical modelling)
  • Advanced skills in quantitative analysis and data visualisation tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Tableau)
  • Experience with BigQuery and thorough knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Lyssna, Hotjar)
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Ability to focus on details while considering the wider strategic context
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to translate research findings into actionable business insights
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the ability to influence and present the value of research to stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of and experience with audience-based communication
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Good to have:


  • Proficiency in languages other than English (e.g. Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, French, Spanish, or Portuguese)


  • Expertise in accessibility standards and inclusive design principles


  • Background in psychology, anthropology, or a related field


  • Experience within the FX, Crypto, Trading, or Banking industry, with a solid understanding of industry-specific challenges and user needs
