As a Principal UX Researcher at Deriv, you'll lead groundbreaking research initiatives that directly impact how millions of people interact with our trading platforms. On a given day, you will:
Drive strategic research initiatives that uncover deep user insights and inform critical product decisions
Lead and mentor a team of researchers, fostering innovation and excellence in research practices
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate research findings into actionable solutions
Design and conduct complex research studies using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
Create compelling narratives from data that inspire stakeholders and drive user-centered decision-making
Build and maintain a centralised research repository that democratises user insights across the organisation
Develop research frameworks and best practices that elevate our entire organisation's understanding of our users

Have 8+ years of experience leading UX research initiatives, preferably in fintech or trading
Possess deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Are skilled with advanced analytics tools (SPSS, R, Tableau) and research platforms
Have experience with SQL and BigQuery for data analysis
Can demonstrate success in building and leading research teams
Are an excellent communicator in English, with additional languages being a plus
Hold expertise in accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
