Job Description
Rockwell Automation goes to market by Industry and Region. A Digital Principal will collaborate with our Cyber-Digital-MOM (CDM) Capability Leaders and Rockwell Automation's GSM Industry and Middle East Regional Account Leaders. You will be responsible for driving significant growth for Rockwell Automation's Digital Business; for growing a Team of talented, committed Professionals; and ensuring a strong, ongoing reputation with Clients & Industry Stakeholders.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Development & Account Leadership:
- Create and drive a Global Sales Business Development Engine that ensures reliable, steady sources of demand.
- Personally drive Business Development at 3-10 Clients and 3-10 Prospects at any point in time
- Build a Network of Senior Buyers of our services
- Match opportunities with the LCS CDM Leader & Team most likely to win the work
- Set and attend regular cadences with regional and industry account teams
- Align campaigns with Cybersecurity, MES, MoM, and Software teams to align and drive campaigns with Sales.
- Engage and align with Channel organization to develop meaningful go-to-market relationships with
- Strategic Partners, Regional SIs, and Distributors to ensure market coverage and accelerate Rockwell solution growth.
- Support the collective annual sales for assigned Middle East region based on annual assigned booking targets.
- Marketing:
- Leverage Marketing Content to make a Market for our Service Offerings with Target Clients, Rockwell Ecosystem of Partners and External Industry Stakeholders
- Be personally eminent – regularly speak, write, participate in panels, post in social media, attend events, etc.
- Delivery Coordination:
- Govern and support coordination of successful delivery of client projects proposed & sold.
- Regularly review Proposals, PIWs, NDAs, and Project Deliverables for QA
- People:
- Attract, develop, and retain Talent & future Leaders for the relevant Industry Practices and the broader Digital Services teams
- Build a community of Digital Services professionals within Global Sales and LCS Services with interest in the mission of the relevant practices.
- Thought Leadership
- Develops Industry Digital point of view documents highlighting latest technologies, market trends, implementation strategies
- Presents keynote addresses at industry events
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is required for this position
- This position may require you to travel up 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
- This position typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- 5+ years as a Partner or equivalent in a well-regarded Management Consulting or Professional Services Firm; ideally, with 2-5 years of Practice Leadership experience.
- Track record of consistent and progressive long-term Commercial Business Development success.
- Significant Network of relationships with Senior Client Executives from the following functions:
- Strategy
- Innovation
- R&D
- Product Engineering
- Digital Transformation
- Manufacturing Operations
- Experience working in a Partner Ecosystem lead business development with Prime/Sub arrangements for Services delivery.
- 5+ years developing Business & serving clients multi-nationally
- Domain Expertise in 2 or more of the following Technologies:
- Digital Twin/Digital ID/Modeling & Simulation/Digital Product Creation
- Advanced Analytics/AI/Machine Learning
- Internet of Things (IoT) – Smart Connected Operations & Smart Connected Products
- A/R, V/R, X/R
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Service Lifecycle Management
- Enterprise Information Management
- Personal eminence in industry forums as demonstrated by a track record or Speeches, Panels, Quotes, Blogs, Articles, White Papers, and other written Digital Vehicles.
