Job Description

GEMS Winchester School, Dubai is seeking a Primary Phase Leader for AY 2025-2026 who will be responsible for overseeing and leading the primary section of the school. This role involves managing staff, developing curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and fostering a positive learning environment. Key responsibilities include:
Lead a team of teachers within the primary phase. Support the professional development of staff through training and mentoring Develop and implement strategies to improve teaching and learning outcomes Monitor and evaluate the performance of teachers and provide constructive feedback Ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively across all grade levels Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop long-term educational strategies Support teachers in setting learning goals and objectives for students Foster strong communication with parents and ensure they are kept informed of their child's progress

To be considered for this role, candidates must be:

An excellent team player both within the department and across phases Have the capacity to innovate in line with new trends in education for young learners An excellent team player both within the department and across phases. Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Be an outstanding practitioner with good knowledge of UAE Inspection framework. Good understanding of child development and educational psychology Be well-versed to lead on Professional Development for staff. Be able to draft strategic planning to accelerate the department/phase to excellence.
