Job Description

A key role within this AV integration business quoting on and responding to tenders for commercial integrated systems incorporating the latest in audio visual technologies. Projects include AV systems in government buildings, schools, stadiums and office environments. As audio visual presales engineer, you will assist the sales team and delivery team by completing detailed proposals and quotes based on high-level designs, then producing more detailed designs and schematics for use by the installation team. You will enjoy a high level of input into project design and value engineering with support from highly experienced colleagues, leveraging your knowledge of AV technology and systems integration. There will also be the opportunity to meet and build relationships with end-user clients, as well as technology vendors and distributors.   • Review designs, drawings, and engineering for AV systems.
  • Provide Audio Visual System consultancy to enterprise level customers
  • Identification of most suitable solution and products and complete most optimum economical design meeting the tender requirements and site conditions.
  • Preparation of Complete Detailed Technical proposal includes design schematic drawings/ system architecture, compliance.
  • Attend Client Meetings for Technical clarifications/ Technical Presentation.
  • Strong liaison and negotiation skills with client, vendors and partner.
  • Able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment, willing to work extended hours.• Proven experience in designing and commissioning Audio and Video systems.
  • Strong knowledge of audio, video, control systems, and networking.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing project requirements.
  • Commitment to continued technical education and relevant certifications.
  • Proficient in creating and modifying detailed documentation.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a track record of exceeding expectations
  • Ensure that Sales, commercial and service teams receive presales support as they request. Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Design to Delivery
  • Architect a comprehensive solution with right mix of products & technologies from our portfolio to meet the requirements of RFP/Tender

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor s degree in electrical& electronic  engineering, Audio Engineering, IT, or related field. or a related field, complemented by professional certification.
  • Certified CTS-D,CTS I,  AVIXA, Certified in Extron, Crestron, QSC, QSYS, BIAMP KNX will be advantage.
  • Master’s degree or relevant advance professional certification Certified CTS-D,CTS I,  AVIXA, Certified in Extron, Crestron, QSC, QSYS, BIAMP KNX will be advantage.

Additional Information

Experience: 


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Audio Visual Presales, with at least 3 years in in UAE.
  • Proven track record of AV Presales and sales
  • Experience in dealing with Vendors and distributers of AV products in UAE and world wide.
  • Experience in AV marketplace diversified business environment is a plus.
  • Experience in industries relevant to Ghobash Group’s portfolio, such as technology, like Network and IT Infrastructures AR, VR, Office digital spaces, home automation Smart Cities and buildings.

Skills & Abilities:


  • In-depth knowledge of Audio Visual principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with the industries in which the Ghobash Group operates is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • In-depth understanding of the Middle East market dynamics and AV business practices.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the Group’s long-term success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, polished presentation abilities, and adeptness in oral and written communication, facilitating effective collaboration with executives, team members, and partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering work of the highest quality and accuracy.
  • Exemplary integrity, judgment, and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Arabic is preferred.
